Armstrong oil furnace vs. Williamson oil furnace
QUESTION:My wife and I getting ready to purchase an oil furnace for her parents. We
are trying to decide between two brands:
Armstrong
Williamson
Which furnace is a better quality. I know the Armstrong is a little cheaper
than the Williamson. From what I have been told, the Williamson is the
better buy.
If so, is the Armstrong brand really a bad unreliable furnace? What
problems if any can I expect from either furnace?
They live in West Virginia, so they will probably be using the furnace for
at least 7 or 8 months out of the year.
ANSWER: Purchase what is prevalent in your area.. You know!!
One that has instant service ...parts on hand...24 hour
everyday emergency service... Will do an A-1 installation.
Will be in business tommorrow and next year and the year
after. Williamson and Armstrong are inexpensive units...
but there isn't a dealer/service on every corner...Check
your area out for dealers..
