boiler layout ?

QUESTION:

I have a problem with a system that serves vav boxes. my problem is that the system is running constantly and I dont know where my water is disappearing to but I nee to fill it often. My fead supply is on the discharge side of the pump so as long as the pump is running I am above the standard 12psi pressure that the regulator supplies at. My vav hat water supply is controlled by a two way valve that lets the water bypass the exchanger and back into the return piping. My problem is or I think my problem is , while my water leaks out in time a few weeks or so I am not getting any new water added due to supply pres and due to the loss of water my suction presser drops into a negative pres causing air to be sucked into into the return through the air bleeds. I am not sure if the water feed should be on the return or the supply side of the pump, and weather the air bleeds should be on the return or supply side. I think I need to program it to shut down at least an hour a day to help with the feed. DOES ANYONE HAVE A BOILER DIAGRAM ( LAYOUT) THEY CAN SEND ME?

ANSWER:

You have nailed the issue - water is leaving what should be ( from your description ) a closed system. Not good.
There is no magic answer here - you need to find the point of exit, and the cause of it.
Likely source would be T&P valves periodically discharging. Put a piece of paper towel under the discharge of all T&P valves on the system ( don't block them or their drains ! ). Check them periodically. If they show signs of being or having been wet, you have your answer ( or part of it ).
Less likely ( I hope ! ) would be breaks in the piping, or drain valves open / partially open.
