bio gas combined with coal fired boiler in a power station
QUESTION:I would like to know whether there are any succesfull proven installations,
that supply additional bio gas to coal fired boilers. The bio gas should
originate off disposable materials like wood chips etc.
ANSWER: Not that I know of. Two different types of fuel which require two different
types of boilers and turbines. Both good fuels but not really compatible.
Kind of like trying to run a vehicle motor with both alcohol and diesel at
the same time.
