Furnace replacement question
QUESTION:I now have a 11 year old forced air Carrier product. It worked
great the first 2 years, but has been one repair after another
nearly every year since. Now they think the control board is bad at
nearly $400 and at this point it is 11 years old. I think I'll just
replace the unit. I'm not sure I want another Carrier product.
Question: For those that have Carrier and were installed new about
1990, how have yours held up? Would you purchase a Carrier
again? For those with other brands, what do you have? How old is
it? Any problems? Guest I'm lucky summer is here, I have all
summer to make up my mind.
ANSWER: If it weren't for carrier, most ac contractors wouldnt be in the repair
business. why do you think so many dealers install carrier? its called job
security. Theres no money in selling something that doesnt consistantly break.
I strongly recommend you buy nothing but carrier.
