Carrier Gas Furnace Board.
QUESTION:i know where to get them at Carrier and no big deal . So.
It is a 5 or 6 burner , Model # GB1AAVO60110 , Prod. # GB1AAV060110-AAJA ,
Serial # 4192A21932 , and relay board # CESO-11-0057-00 but last 00 stamped out
and put 01 in it's place but another number on card 9240 if it means anything.
SO.
I have a bunch of these around installed by a regular Carrier dealer that open
up for a few years and went under. The problem is they don't work very good with
water running down on the relay board while running. then they have these black
marks all over the board that appear in short order. So I have to order from
Carrier supply house only for these boards. I'm not a Carrier residentiual
dealer and have to pay non-dealer prices which is almost two times what any
other furnace manufactor has to pay for them. So.
i can buy every sub brand of Carrier there is at good wholesale prices. the
fellow who sold these furnaces only staied in business about 3 years and all the
relay boards are the same. i'm looking for a replacement board that would come
from any Carrier sub company names like Hiel and whatever. i'm in with everybody
but Residentiual Carrier it'self. Carrier is blocked to sell residentiual stuff
to me for there is a Carrier residentiual dealer out of town but assigned to my
area. I think the Residentiual dealer were cring about it and they done this.
So.
So where can a fellow find this board without paying retail for it. Shipping is
not a problem. OR What does this board cross over to in other sub-brands of
carrier which I can get very easily. Yes I live in the Sticks where supply house
don't know anything about crossing over numbers of Carrier or other.
ANSWER: It is not a sale here , they will tell you fix it and then we will talk about
new one in another 15 years. The reason i get all these old customers is they
know if they call me I will either fix it or sell them a new one but I will do
what they want to do. A 13 year old furnace and system is concidered new in this
part of the country. Now 25 to 30 years old is old here. Sounds good but it will
not fly.
