Carrier gas furnace does not restart in cold days

QUESTION:

I have a four years old Carrier gas furnace (58MXA).
In cold days (-10 degrees C) the furnace has the tendency not to restart when the thermostat indicates temp lower than the one that has been setup. In such cases, the thermostat will not start the furnace even when I switch it from "Auto" to "On".
To work around it, I click on the micro switch that attached to the Pressure Switch. In many cases that solves the problem. In others, I will have to repeat it after every cycle.
This phenomenon also happens when I set the thermostat to a temp greater the 21 degrees C.
The vent and the combustion-air openings, outside the house, look clear from any obstructions.

ANSWER:

If you still dont have it working, calling someone in your area, a Carrier Dealer, would be a good thing. And th epoint that Vicki was making, is that the thermostat fan control switch, does not control anything but the blower motor, and its possible that you have other issues, like open rollouts, or a bad control board if your unit has one...etc that are causing the problem.
