Electric water boiler recommendations
QUESTION:I have a commercial customer who desires a Unico system with a heat pump and
hot water coil for auxiliary heat. Its cheaper to heat the water with
electric here than with gas.
I have no past experience with the brands of electric boilers, they have not
been promoted well in our area, so suggestions and past experiences would be
greatly appreciated.
ANSWER: Burnham Carefree electric boiler. 68K is the largest they have listed, but
you can get 2 slightly smaller ones and break it up on a per zone basis.
