Furnace Ignitor Repair

QUESTION:

Can anyone *please* help? (Even my furnace guy of many years is stumped.)
I have a Carrier 58SXA Gas Furnace that has worked reliably for approx. 10 years. Starting last season, have "burned -out" (?) 3 Ignitor/Lockout Control modules (solid state). Furnace is on own circuit, no changes to electrical system within period when problems started.
We are at the point where we are grasping at solutions (e.g., had DirectTV installed within period of problems, installed a wireless phone - frequency interference w. module?)
I can't keep changing modules, nor can I manually reset every time the house cools down.

ANSWER:

Actually, after my post of this morning, I ran a ground wire directly to the nut on the module that is supposed to ground the module w. the furnace case.
So far, the furnace has been cycling properly and have not had to reset manually.
(I only thought of this because I had the same problem w. an old car that kept burning-out Voltage Regulators and had to be fixed by adding a ground line.)
