QUESTION:For a maintainance company, try Lookout Maintainance. They're moving
into renovations and remodels, but Kent Taylor seems to be an honest
person who stands behind his work. John (above) does all his own work;
Kent has a "crew" but I suspect you would get satisfaction from him.
ANSWER: We have used Lookout Maintenance in Boulder, and have had very mixed
results, mostly bad. I do on-site management of a fourplex, so I have
firsthand experience with them. The old management company here liked to
use them because they were a little cheaper, but I'm very glad that the new
company has cast them off. I could tell you at least two horror stories -
one to do with furnace repair and another with plumbing.
