Gas Furnace Wiring Diagram
QUESTION:I have run across a problem I hope somebody can help with....no heat
call..... customer says furnace has not been used in a couple of
years....said that the cumbustion blower quit and they never got it fixed.
Rheem Criterion
RGDG-050AUER gas furnace
CC5D302-F2192-7039
Standing pilot, natural gas.
I have replaced the cumbustion blower, then I went to check the controls and
found there weren't any
left. The furnace has been majorly hacked over, safeties
bypassed/cut(literally)
out of the circuit, control board missing with a fan relay and sequenser and
a birds nest of wires in its place. I have everything figured out except one
thing....
The 9 pin Molex connector on the 47-22827-83 retrofit Honeywell fan control
board.....I
need the pin-outs with what goes to where...or a wiring diagram with
standing pilot furnace.
The wiring diagrams for this furnace that I have are all either spark, or
HSI which takes a different board.
The wiring diagram that is *supposed* to be on the furnace is MIA.
Its gonna get cold again........33 tonight, 46 tomorrow, and 24 tomorrow
night
ANSWER: Yea, That is a Chop to Cool job that one could does if everything is burnt
up and they need cooling and the promise to change out the furnace before
winter. They call it Chop to Cool. I maybe telling off on my self here but
in my life i have done 2 like that to just get the cooling going when the
fire chamber has a hole in it and has burnt up a bunch of the stuff and you
want air.
Now it could just be a Hack in Training Excelling here.
I will have to go into my old computor here to see about a wiring diagram
for I kept a bunch of the older Rheem on it to go back to see about. I would
flate bed scan the wiring diagram off the furnace lide to have. It will be
about 30 minutes to see if i have it.
