How To Install Gas Furnace
QUESTION:How much does it cost to replace a gas furnace?
I have a rental property which is a duplex built in 1948. The gas furnace is in a low efficent. It's only a 770sqf for each unit and the gas bill is as high as $250 a month. It's in a low income neighborhood so I dont want to spend a lot of money to upgrade to HVAC? Is it worth to repair it or it's better to just buy a new gas furnace? How much does it cost to buy the unit and to install it? Any other options than installing a new gas furnace?
ANSWER: Depends upon what you buy and who installs it. I got a new gas furnace and an air conditioner together installed for $3000 a couple of years ago (better price with both done together).
