QUESTION:My mom's got a summertime mobile on a lot about ninety miles north of
here, and it gets pretty cold up there in the winter so she leaves the
thermostat at about 60 shen she's not there. She says the blower
motor is getting noisy; I'm working six days a week right now and
can't just go look at it first. I thought it would be best if I just
picked up a motor for it and changed it on a Sunday. Intertherm tech info is not open to me as I don't sell them or
even usually work on them. Can anyone tell me what motor I chouls
take with me for an Intertherm MAC1155? (Furnace input 55K.) Thanks.
I believe the mobile was bought in the eighties.
ANSWER: You really need the model and serial number before I can do anything for
you..... I no longer have a local Intertherm supplier. I *do* know that
there are a couple of different assemblies with different plugs etc. If the
trailer has A/C, then that adds a couple of more possiblities on the blowers
too.... now you are talking 1/3 or 1/5 horse motors.
