QUESTION:These are the markings on the furnace tag.
I am looking for general schematics and info. I have no idea if this
furnace even works. It is installed in the garage of the house I just
bought. There is no thermostat hooked to it, just a few wires hanging down
from it. I can hear gas when I push the button down, but I can't seem to
find where to light the pilot.
ANSWER: First -- 99% of the time the wiring diagram will be on the inside of the
blower door pannel.
Second -- York / Luxaire / Colman/evcon are all the same company now.
information will have to come from them as to data sheets and installation
instructions .
Third -- When your working on a old pilot type furnace that was abandoned
. It was Abandoned for some reason and can be plaing with a loaded gun if
your not careful. Watch your step here with this old equipment.
