Propane Furnace Repair

QUESTION:

I have a 1993 Golden West mobile home. It has a propane furnace. Up until I bought it I had natural gas heaters, and could easily light the pilot light.
For the past 8 plus years, every fall I can't light the pilot light on the propane heater. I will hold down the pilot light button for 2 minutes to bleed the line, but can't seem to light the pilot light.
Can you PLEASE tell me how to light a propane furnace?

ANSWER:

For one thing there is adjustment screw for the pilot supply on the control valve body behind a big screw cap. Maybe you don't have enough gas coming out for pilot. Also turning off pilot is good and bad. Good to save gas, bad becuase it can let mositure collect and rust the burner.
