steam boiler bulb/lamp replacement
QUESTION:I need to replace the steam boiler on lamp on my Brewtus I. It no
longer lights when the steam boiler is heating. It seems to be hard
wired and one piece. Since my mechanical aptitude is somewhat
limited, I don't want to force anything.
Has anyone done this? And, where can one obtain the part? WLL
doesn't stock the part.
ANSWER: It's all one piece. It is the switch assembly not just the lamp. WLL does
carry it ask for the on off switch. Easy to install.
1. Disconnect power cord from wall socket
2. Wrap some masking tape around blade of a blade screwdriver
3. Gently insert blade between stainless steel case and black plastic switch
4. Gently pry switch and it will pop off the SS
5. There will be 3 or 4 colored wires attached to the switch with spade
connectors
6 Mark each wire with tape and paper so as not to confuse them
7. Slip the wires off the connectors
8. Slip connectors on the spades of the new switch
9 Pop switch assembly into machine
10 Plug machine back into power source and turn on
