QUESTION:If anyone is intersted we have just added a brand new horizontal vacuum
furnace with a work zone that is 84" wide by 120" deep to our existing line
of vacuum furnaces. This furnace can handle loads up to 16,000 pounds and is
one of the largerst in the USA and equipped with the newest state of the art
controls.
We are an FAA approved repair station, NADCAP accredited, and AS9000
compliant. We are an approved source for Heat treating and/or Brazing for
most major companies in the Aerospace business and several other major
companies for Medical and Nuclear . Letters of qualification from individual
companies are on file and available on request.
ANSWER: We are interested in vaccum furnace for ion nitriding,the size you
mentioned
is suitable to us but it should be verticle not horizontal.
You have not mentioned about vaccum system along with furnace.Also
wheather it is from SS316L or SS316.
Please send us complete technical detail.How much vaccum can be
achived?
