Westinghouse Furnace Part

QUESTION:

I just purchased a house that has a hot air/oil furnace with a Westinghouse humidifier. I am in dire need of replacement parts for the latter, more specifically, the valve/float assembly.
For the sake of the argument, yes, I *did* try to install an Air King valve/float assembly as well as the generic replacement valve and float sold at The Home Depot, but it just won't fit because of lack of space and overall unit design.
So:
Does anyone know if Westinghouse still makes furnace humidifiers, and where parts can be obtained from?

ANSWER:

The Westinghouse name is still around on major home appliances, but its owned by Frigidaire now. They havent made any furnace humidifiers or other HVAC equipment for,I would say,15-20 years. Disappointing as it sounds,I would recommend a new humidifier.Aprilaire and General both make nice, reasonably priced units that should serve your purpose.
